A year ago, Halloween was the day when I got my first paycheque (see Treat). This time around, there is still no trick, only more treat!

The Ontario government decided that while the electricity cost is soaring (FYI: At 5.8c - 6.7c per kWh in commodity, Ontario probably has one of the lowest rate in the world) for the past n months, households like mine with such a low income probably had a hard time affording utilities by now, and should get some relief. So here it is, the Ontario Home Electricity Relief Program. Well, that means $60 falling from the sky. And I don’t even pay for my electricity.

Definitely a treat.
